Tipp townlands impacted with Boil Water Notices

Uisce Éireann wishes to advise customers on the Carrick On Suir (Linguan) Public Water Supply that the existing Boil Water Notice will continue until further notice.

The notice was issued on September 3 as a measure to protect the health of approximately 4,000 customers as a result of treatment issues at the water treatment plant, which caused the drinking water quality entering the water supply to be affected.

Uisce Éireann is carrying out works to address the issues at the treatment plant to enable the lifting of the notice as quickly as possible.

Meanwhile, Uisce Éireann would like to remind customers supplied by the Horse and Jockey Public Water Supply that the Boil Water Notice issued on September 3 will remain in place until further notice.
