Watch Centre Junior 'A' Hurling Championship: Kiladangan were crowned North Junior ‘A’ Hurling champions last Friday for only the third time in their history following an enthralling extra-time 3-23 to 2-22 victory over Toomevara. Kiladangan captain Shane Seymour accepted the cup from North Board Chairperson Brendan Shanahan. See match report for further details.
Watch Centre Junior 'B' Hurling Championship: Newport had a 0-25 to 1-18 extra time victory over Knockshegowna last Saturday in Ballingarry in the second of the semi-finals.
Newport will face Silvermines in the North Final which takes place on Saturday, 21st September at 5.00pm in Puckane.
Junior 'C' Hurling Championship: commenced last Sunday.
In Group 1, Kilruane MacDonaghs had a 3-13 to 1-12 victory over Nenagh Eire Og in Cloughjordan whilst Ballinahinch and Silvermines played out a 0-14 each draw in Shalee. Ballina had a Round 1 bye.
In Group 2, Shannon Rovers had an exciting 1-20 to 5-7 victory over Roscrea in Ballinderry whilst Lorrha had an impressive 3-13 to 1-10 victory away to Borris-Ileigh.
Round 2 of Group 1 takes place this Sunday, 15th September. At 11.00am, Silvermines host Ballina in Dolla whilst at 12 noon, Nenagh Éire Óg host Ballinahinch with Kilruane MacDonaghs having a bye.
No games in Group 2 take place this weekend - the next round takes place on September 22nd.
Under 17 'A' Hurling: The North Final between Toomevara and Kilruane MacDonaghs will take place on Wednesday, 11th September in Puckane at 6.15 pm.
Under 17 'B' Hurling: Congratulations to Roscrea who had a 2-18 to 3-13 victory over Portroe last Saturday in Borrisokane in the North Under 17 'B' Hurling Final. See match report for further details.
Under 15 'A' Hurling: The North Final between Newport and Roscrea will take place on Wednesday, 18th September in Puckane at 7.00pm.
Under 15 'B' Hurling: The North Final between Ballina and Borris-Ileigh will take place on Saturday, 21st September in Dolla at 2.00pm.
