Mawdsley signs off season with victory

The Newport AC athlete posted a time of 51.35s to finally get the better of Austria’s Susanne Gogl-Walli with Lieke Klaver of the Netherlands in third.

It was Mawdsley’s first race since the Olympic Games in Paris last month where she was just edged out of a medal in the women’s 4x400m relay as Ireland came fourth.
