The Watch Centre Junior 'B' Hurling Championship: Newport will face Silvermines in the North Final which takes place this Saturday, 21st September at 5.00pm in Puckane. Newport will be looking to claim their sixth title (last won in 2017) whilst Silvermines will be looking for their third (last won in 2020).

Junior 'C' Hurling Championship: Only one game took place last weekend with Nenagh Eire Og securing a 3-9 to 0-13 victory over Ballinahinch whilst the clash of Ballina v Silvermines did not go ahead and will take place at a later date.

Group 1 action continues this weekend - Ballina host Ballinahinch on Saturday at 5.00pm whilst Silvermines host Kilruane MacDonaghs on Sunday at 12 noon. Both Group 2 games take place on Sunday at 12 noon - Lorrha host Shannon Rovers whilst Roscrea host Borris-Ileigh.

Under 17 ‘A’ Hurling: Congratulations to Kilruane MacDonaghs who claimed the North U17 'A' Hurling title last Wednesday in Puckane after a 1-23 to 1-8 final victory over Toomevara. Captain Michael Cleary accepted the cup. Both sides were out in county quarter final action last weekend - Kilruane had a comprehensive victory over Mullinahone whilst Toomevara had a 1-11 to 1-10 victory over Killenaule.

Under 17 'B' Hurling: In the County quarter finals, Roscrea had a 1-15 to 0-15 victory over Fethard whilst Portroe lost to Moyle Rovers.

Under 15 'A' Hurling: The North Final between Newport and Roscrea will take place this Wednesday, 18th September in Puckane at 7.00pm.

Under 15 'B' Hurling: The North Final between Ballina and Borris-Ileigh will take place this Saturday, 21st September in Dolla at 2.00pm.

Under 13 Hurling: Three North sides were out in action last weekend in the County semi-finals. Toomevara had a big win in the 'A' semi-final over Mullinahone. Ballinahinch/Templederry had a 1-8 to 1-6 victory over Grangemockler/Ballyneale in the ‘B’ whilst Silvermines got the better of Carrick Davins in the 'D'. Newport took on Clerihan in the 'C' semi-final on Tuesday 17th September with no result at time of going to print.

Holycross will host the County Finals this Saturday, 21st September - Toomevara will face Drom & Inch at 2.00pm in the 'A' Final, in the 'B' – Ballinahinch/Templederry face Loughmore/Castleiney at 1.00pm, the 'C' Final takes place at 12 noon - Clonakenny play the winners of Newport/Clerihan whilst in the 'D' - Silvermines face Holycross/Ballycahill at 11.00am.
