A fantastic week was held highlighting diversity in the school.

Coláiste Phobal Ros Cré

Transition Year musical

Our Transition Year students have been working hard rehearsing for the last few weeks in anticipation of our upcoming show - Legally Blonde! It promises to be an eye-catching production! Keep an eye on our socials for updates over the next few weeks.

Opening service

We had a full house for our Opening Year Service on Thursday, September 26; this is a lovely occasion full of song, reflection and looking forward. This year, taking place during Diversity Week, the theme of Diversity took centre stage.

Thanks to our Chaplain Ms Dunne and our RE department, as well as all the musicians, singers and readers who made the event so meaningful. Thanks also to Mr Maher, Ms Gothard, Mr Haugh and all the staff who helped out. Looking forward to the year ahead!

Open night

We are delighted to announce that this year’s open night will take place on Thursday, October 10, from 6.30 to 8.30.

Come along to talk to members of our dedicated teaching staff and management team, and take the time to meet our students and view our facilities.

Diversity Week

We held our first ever diversity week in the school last week. A fantastic week of events and activities was organised to allow students to identify, discuss and explore the wide range of diversity that we have within our school community.

Cineáltas

Well done to Benas Pukas, Seerat Liaqat and Aleksandra Hercka, who travelled to Dublin with Ms Dunne and Ms Connolly Hogan to represent Coláiste at the National Cineáltas showcasing event in Croke Park. This event is to showcase and celebrate how we excel in inclusion and diversity within our school community.

While there, they met Minister for Education Norma Foley and discussed matters of concern with her; they also presented her with a Kindness Week card.
