Walking tour of Portroe

There will be a historical walking tour of Portroe village on Sunday next, October 13. The group will meet at the Portroe Church Car Park in the village at 11am. Mike Gleeson (Shannonvale) will lead the walking tour of Portroe village telling the walkers some of the fascinating stories of the people and characters that lived in the village over the years. It is hoped that others will share their stories, memories and history of the village. The tour is free of charge, and all are welcome.
