Board favours Templemore plan

An Bord Pleanála has upheld a Tipperary Co Council decision to grant planning permission for five houses in Templemore.

CCK Estates Ltd was granted conditional permission for the renovation of an existing vacant terrace of four two-storey dwelling houses to re-establish five dwelling houses and all associated site works at Bradley's Row. The council's decision was appealed by Paul Tumelty of Church Avenue, Templemore.

An Bord Pleanála concluded that, subject to compliance with a number of revised conditions, the proposed development would not seriously injure the residential or visual amenities of the area, or the amenities of property in the vicinity. The board ruled that CCK Estates' plan would constitute an acceptable form of development at the location.
