Local man works with rising All Black stars

A local man got the opportunity to work with New Zealand rugby stars last week.
With a New Zealand selection in Munster last week ahead of their tour match at Thomond Park on Saturday, Burgess native Cyril McGrath was one of a number of people got to get up close and personal with the famed All Blacks at their Limerick base.
With some personnel still making their way back from South Africa after Munster’s two-game trip in the URC, McGrath was one of a number of local strength & conditioning coaches sourced to provide recovery and rehabilitation services for the New Zealand rugby union for their squad, as their first team squad were in London preparing for their test match against England, ahead of this Friday’s clash with Ireland in Dublin.
McGrath got to work with the players on Monday and Thursday at their base in Castletroy following their training sessions, and also attended the match as the tourists scored two late tries to win 38-24.
