Nenagh Christmas Tree Festival 2024
Wednesday, December 11 — Sunday, December 15
We welcome you to our Christmas special event at St Mary’s Church of Ireland in Nenagh.
We are so impressed with the talent and creativity in our community and once again we invite you to take part. Opening times are the same as last year: 1pm - 5.30pm on Wednesday, Thursday,
Friday and 11am - 6pm on Saturday, Sunday, followed by the Carol Service at 6.30 on Sunday.
Christmas displays, sales table, raffle table, tea room, Prayer Tree, Christmas colouring competition for primary school children, and special morning hours for school groups by prior arrangement will all be here. Admission is €8; €5 for OAP or kids; teas are €5.
Displays are welcome in three categories: business or retail, individual, organisation and each visitor will have a vote. Exhibitors please follow these guidelines:
• All exhibitors should provide their own tree, real or artificial, with a suitable and secure stand.
• Lights are allowed, but no candles. Please do not bring your own extension cables; these and electrical connections will be provided.
• Setting up, decoration and the dismantling of the tree is solely the responsibility of the exhibitor.
• Trees must be dismantled only during the specified dates and times that are listed on the booking form.
• The organisers will provide a suitable location for each exhibit to complement the whole display for the festival.
• Please do not use twinkling lights in your exhibit. They disturb some people’s vision.
• The organisers reserve the right to remove any tree, or any decoration on the tree, which they consider to be unsafe or inappropriate or upsetting to others.
• Each tree may follow a theme, or represent the activity of your group or organisation, and have a title which is reflected by its decoration. We encourage exhibitors to be as creative and
‘environmentally-friendly’ as possible.
• A number of window sills are available that can be used to exhibit smaller trees. If this is suitable for you, please indicate when you submit your booking.
To exhibit a tree is free! To enter your tree, please email: nenaghchristmastrees@gmail.com or Nenagh Christmas Tree Festival on Facebook. Tree drop-off times are Saturday, December 7, or Monday, December, 9 from 2 - 6pm.
