Grants awarded for Christmas events and markets
Successful applicants to the Christmas Retail Events and Markets Grant Scheme 2024 have been announced.
Among the local recipients are Ballinderry Development Association, Christmas Market, €300; Cloughjordan Community Development Association, Christmas Market, €800; Newport Development Association, Newport Christmas Market, €1,600; Rathcabbin Development Association, Rathcabbin Lights Up 2024, €400; Nenagh Country Market Ltd, Christmas Markets, €500; Nenagh Tourist Office and Visitor Centre, Christmas at the Castle, €2,000; Killoran Community Centre Children's Christmas Party, €800; Christmas Tractors Nenagh, €2,000; Templemore Community Development Association, Nollag le Chéile - Christmas Together, €1,800; Roscrea Chamber of Commerce Christmas Retail Festival, €1,800; Roscrea Country Market, €500.
The grants have been welcomed by Nenagh Municipal District councillor John Carroll.
