Parents Association AGM

Thanks to everyone who attended our recent AGM. The following are the officers for this year, Avril Murphy, chairperson, Marie Coffey, secretary, and Siobhan Gantly, treasurer. Thanks to Paula Sullivan our outgoing treasurer for all her hard work over the past few years. Please keep an eye on social media and our website for information about our PA.

TY GAA Future Leaders

Our TYs were busy promoting the Skills Challenge they are organising as part of their Event Management module. We are already looking forward to this event.

Senior Hurling

Well done to our senior hurlers who had a great win over Patrician Academy Mallow on a scoreline of 7-13- 2-14 in their first competitive outing of the year, next fixture is against St Caimin’s Shannon.

TY Barista Training

Thanks to Mike and Eoghan from Dublin Barista School for facilitating a very enjoyable workshop for TYs this week. Great fun was had by all and some delicious coffees were delivered around the school. Well done to all who took part.

TY Trip to Pallas Driving School

TY students enjoyed a day out at Pallas Early Learning Driving School. They got to experience driving and got the opportunity to practice for their theory test, and they also learned how to change a tyre.

‘Standing Up in our Communities’

We celebrated Stand Up Awareness Week 2024 by ‘creating an opportunity to take steps to make spaces safe and supportive for LGBTIQ+ young people in our community. We raised the LGBTIQ+ flag, we had a whole school BiSockuality Day and a whole school Colour Day. Thanks to who were involved in celebrating this week.
