Artists open Christmas shop in Nenagh

North Tipperary Artists Collective have in recent times run a number of successful pop-up shops.

Now this talented group are focusing their attention on their first ever Christmas pop-up shop, which will be located in the former Aneva fashions premises in Quintin's Way. The shop will be officially open for business on Wednesday, December 4, and will run until Tuesday, December 24, with doors opening at 10am each day. What promises to be a fun-filled opening party will happen on Thursday, December 12. Inside the bright and inviting space, customers will have the opportunity to select from a wide and diverse variety of gifts, ranging from cards, candles, handcrafted jewellery, pressed flower art, paintings, prints, photographic work, ceramics, textile art, metal and wood-crafted objects. There will be something to suit all pockets and tastes, and the shop will afford the people of North Tipperary as well as welcome visitors to the town an opportunity to buy unique beautifully crafted gifts made by local artists and creatives.

The artists themselves will run the shop and will be available to lend assistance to potential customers. The collective are delighted to have the opportunity to show first hand what can be achieved when their combined talents and efforts are brought together.

They are now a group of 80 members and membership continues to grow. They came together in 2023 to support each other by sharing their experiences, exchanging views and advising each other of potential opportunities.

The members are from all walks of life, all ages and all stages, professional and rising stars alike. Their ambition is to enrich the art and cultural life of North Tipperary.

and its surrounds by securing an appropriate permanent exhibition space to showcase the work of local, national and international visual and other artists, as well as the work of the local community.
