Count suspended until Monday morning

Counting in the Tipperary North constituency has been suspended until Monday morning.

Cllr Jim Ryan has requested a full recount of votes. Returning Officer James Seymour has announced that counting will resume at 11am on Monday.

As yet, Deputy Michael Lowry is the only candidate declared elected in Tipp North.

Without reaching the quota, Alan Kelly remains in second position, followed by Cllrs Ryan O'Meara, Michael Smith and Jim Ryan.
