It’s that time of the year again to gear up for the Christmas Day Charity Run, which will be staged in Nenagh.

The 5km run, organised by Tony Hassett for well over 40 years now, will start at the CBS track at 11am along a route out the Borrisokane Road and turn back in towards town again to finish at the track via Dromin Road.

Funds, as usual, will go to the Nenagh Day Care Centre, which provides invaluable support to older people and their families in the community.

There is no entry fee, but there will be a bucket collection on the day. There will lots of spot prizes handed out.

So, come along and enjoy, and it’s not an event just for runners. Walkers and cyclists are most welcome to join in the fun.
