It’s gold for Birdhill firm, McHale’s

A BIRDHILL-based plant equipment distributor has been awarded gold for their excellence achieved within a short time of their appointment as agents in Ireland and UK.

McHale Plant Sales at Annaholty, Birdhill, has been certified by Finnish stone crushers manufacturer, Metso, as their ‘first Gold level distributor’ under its Partner Excellence Programme following a comprehensive audit conducted by their Aggregates Distribution Leadership Team.

This is the second major accolade bestowed upon McHale by the globally-acclaimed construction and mining machinery manufacturer following a ‘Best in Marketing’ award presented to them at a recent Metso distributor conference in Tampere, Finland.

Praising McHale for their ‘exceptional performance, dedication, and commitment’, which their citation said, ‘set a new standard of excellence’, the purpose of the programme is ‘to build a network of trusted Metso distributors’ who can deliver a Tier-1 service that Metso believes ‘will ensure a thriving customer success and satisfaction’.

McHale has represented Metso since 2015 in Ireland and Northern Ireland markets, and in England, Scotland and Wales markets since early-2023, working from headquarters in Birdhill, Rathcoole, Tamworth and Edinburgh.

Acknowledging the prestigious award, McHale Aftersales Director, Anthony Ryan attributed it to “a lot of hard work, good systems, investment in field service, parts inventories and equipment, and to that all important factor of having lots of good people in place.”
