Gardaí in Nenagh have warned homeowners to be vigilant following a number of burglaries in the district over the past week or so.
One occurred in Ardcroney sometime between 5.30pm and 9pm on Wednesday of last week.
A second took place on a house in the village of Puckane sometime between Saturday and Sunday last. A number of items were stolen.
Meanwhile, burglary of a house in Tyone resulted in the theft of car keys from the property. The vehicle parked outside was then stolen. It was later recovered in a housing estate in Nenagh.
Separately, three cars were stolen in Roscrea between Sunday and Monday last. Gardaí subsequently received reports of dangerous driving on the M7, which they believe were related to the thefts of the vehicles.
