There was a good turnout last Wednesday evening in the Kilruane MacDonaghs GAA Centre to promote the renewal of the Cloughjordan District Community Text Alert system. The meeting heard from Community Garda and Macra Na Feirme representatives and the meet organiser Charles Williams encouraged those present to become involved in setting up a new local text alert system. There was a big attendance at the information meeting held in the GAA Complex last Wednesday to set up the Cloughjordan Area Text Alert Group. A representative from Muintir na Tíre and Community Garda members were present at the meeting. Application forms for those wishing to join the Text Alert Group are available at Centra, Cloughjordan.
