Gardaí report burglaries in Nenagh

Gardaí in Nenagh have reported three burglaries of properties that occurred in the district over the past week or so.

One took place in the Oaklawn Drive area of the town on Tuesday week last. A pedal cycle was stolen at approximately 11.30pm. One of the occupants of the house was assaulted.

The burglary of a house also occurred in an estate of Silver Street in the town. A male suspect has been charged.

Meanwhile, a number of electrical tools were stolen from a shed in Monsea near Ballycommon on Friday last. The theft occurred in broad daylight, sometime between the hours of 11.30am and 3pm.
