Garda appeal over rogue callers

The gardaí are appealing to the public to be extra careful about rogue callers to your house around this time.

The callers can claim that they are from the local county council and are carrying out repair works in the locality.

They have already called to houses after the recent snow and frost so they are likely to do so again after the storm last weekend.

People are advised to not engage with such callers.
