County GAA Fixtures Plan broadly similar to last year

The Competitions Controls Committee of Tipperary County Board have confirmed their fixtures calendar for the 2025 season.
The schedule is broadly similar to last year, although the club season will begin slightly earlier with the adult football leagues getting underway on the weekend of March 9th with the hurling leagues beginning in their usual slot around St Patrick’s weekend.
Both leagues will be played on every other weekend, with the football finals on the weekend of June 1st with the hurling finals a week later.
As has been the case over the last couple of years, the group stages of the FBD Insurance County Hurling Championships in senior, premier intermediate and intermediate will begin on the weekend of July 27th, a week after the All-Ireland Hurling Final. As in recent years, the hurling and football championships will run every second weekend, with all hurling finals fixed for the weekend of 12th October, with the football finals a week later.
The under 21 hurling finals are fixed for the weekend of 7th December with the football finals the week later while the under 19 hurling finals are down for the weekend of 21st September with the football the following weekend.
The scheduling of the divisional hurling championship at senior, premier intermediate and intermediate have yet to be determined as they depend on Tipperary’s progress in the inter-county championships, with a June start again likely if the county senior teams fail to progress deep into their respective championships.
