All set for ‘Dancing Queen’
Nenagh College’s first ever musical
The time is here for the opening night of our first ever school musical and we are bursting with excitement, and maybe a few nerves! The work has been done and the stage set, ready to welcome our first ever live audiences. With this in mind we are proud to introduce our leads for the show. We thank them for all their hard work and commitment. We know you’ll all be great.
The show will be held in Nenagh College Sports Hall on the nights of Wednesday and Thursday, February 12 and 13, at 7.30pm each night. The doors will open from 7pm and patrons are asked to be in their seats before the show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets will be available to purchase on the door each night. Please note that we can only accept cash at the door as we have no card machine to accept electronic payments. You may also pre-book tickets by email at tickets@nenaghcollege.com Ticket prices are €15 for adults and €10 for children of school going age.
MEET SOME OF THE STARS
Grace Quinn - Donna: Sixteen-year-old Grace hails from Silvermines. When not practicing for the musical, she plays camogie and soccer. This is her first musical and she is so excited to get going and hopes that everyone who comes really enjoys the show.
Grace Kilgannon - Sophie: This 15-year-old comes from Ballinaclough. She plays soccer as well as traditional and classical music. She’s an active member of Musical Theatre Academy Nenagh and was part of the Youth Choral Society musicals Shrek and Legally Blonde.
Ruairí O’Dwyer - Eddie & Sebastian Siwek - Pepper: Sixteen-year-old Ruairí comes from Bawn. He likes swimming, taekwondo, playing the accordion and video games. He’s enjoyed being in the show and laughs at himself trying to dance in these rehearsals.
Sebastian, 16, hails from Nenagh. He likes gaming, running and basketball. He has enjoyed learning all the dances and songs and can’t wait to do it in front of a live audience
