Go-ahead for Ballina marquee

Tipperary Co Council has granted conditional planning permission for a seasonal marquee in Ballina.

Sixty Something Ltd sought permission to erect a marquee for seasonal use (May to September) and all associated site works within the grounds of Flanagans Bar (a Protected Structure) at Ballina Quay.

In granting permission, the council stated that the planning would be for a period of five years from the date of the final grant of planning permission. Also among the conditions was a requirement that no music, live performance or other entertainment noise be emitted from the marquee.
