Hope, prayer and healing day coming up in Nenagh

As part of the Jubilee Year of Hope, Nenagh Holy Spirit Prayer Group in conjunction with Nenagh Parish, is privileged to host Maria Vadia, Florida USA, on Saturday, March 29, at the Scouts Hall, Nenagh, from 10am to 5pm. For over 15 years now, Maria has travelled annually to Ireland giving missions in venues and parishes across the north, south and west of the country.

Carrying a message of faith, hope, salvation and healing through Jesus Christ, this is her first time to the Midlands.

Born in Havana, Cuba, Maria Vadia was only 10-years-old when she and her family fled to Miami, Florida, to escape the Communist regime in her native country.

She attended Catholic schools and Sunday Mass but had no personal relationship with Jesus.

She married a wealthy man and became materialistic and worldly.  Yet in the midst of everything the world had to offer, she felt an emptiness deep within her heart.

Maria’s life was radically changed, when she had a personal experience of the Holy Spirit in 1987.

From this day, her spiritual gifts began to grow alongside her personal relationship with Jesus.

She consecrated her life to Jesus and to preaching the Gospel through the power of the Holy Spirit.

In spite of great adversity, God has been with her throughout. Currently active in Catholic Charismatic Renewal in the Archdiocese of Miami, Maria has spoken at conferences in over 30 countries and continues to travel internationally to bring hope and healing.  She hosts a weekly broadcast from her Facebook Channel; is the founder of ‘Jesus is Lord’ Chapter of Magnificat in Miami, a ministry to Catholic women and is also connected with Glory House of Miami, a safe haven for victims of human trafficking.
