Killoran Drama Group are delighted to announce that this latest production ‘Caught in the Net’ will continue its run this weekend Friday to Sunday, March 7 to 9.
The show at Killoran Community Centre starts at 8pm. Tickets may be booked by phoning 087-9144558 between 5 and 8pm only.
This year’s production continues the saga of John Smith, taxi driver and his complicated life. When we last met John, he was happily married to both Mary in Wimbledon and Barbara in Streatham.
His job as a taxi driver and a well-planned schedule enabled him to have two successful marriages. An act of bravery, where he came to the aid of an old lady who was being mugged upset his schedule and almost brought his whole world crashing down around him.
Thanks to the help of his lodger Stanley and large helpings of luck he managed to stabilise the situation and continue as before.
Time has moved on and it is 18 years later. John has had a son with Barbara and a daughter with Mary. Everything is fine until they meet on the internet and decide they want to meet in person, such a meeting would be a disaster and John, aided by the ever willing Stanley decides that it must be prevented at all costs. Matters are complicated even more by the arrival of Stanley’s senile father who is going on holidays and thinks that Mary’s house is a hotel.
Will John and Stanley manage to save the day for a second time or will John be finally caught out? Come to Killoran next weekend when all will be revealed.
