FET Open Days in Tipp beginning on Monday

People are being urged to visit their local Tipperary FET College Open Day this spring to find out more about Further Education and Training (FET) courses available in the county.

Tipperary FET College is the new name for Tipperary ETB’s Further Education and Training provision, providing a one-stop-shop for full and part-time adult education courses across the Premier County.

Tipperary FET College’s 21 campuses deliver a large and diverse selection of courses, certified from Levels 1-6 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ).

Tipperary FET College also delivers apprenticeship provision from campuses in Archerstown (Thurles), Carrick-on-Suir and Templemore, as well as providing Adult Literacy, Lifelong Learning, and Youthreach, among a wide range of education services for people of almost any age.

People are being encouraged to visit any of these upcoming Open Days to discuss upskilling opportunities, and discover how to progress in their desired career.

Thursday, March 13 (2-8pm): Templemore (Templemore College)

Friday, March 14 (8.30am-2pm): The Main Guard, Clonmel

Friday, March 21 (9-4pm): Thurles – Archerstown

Tuesday, April 1 (10.30am-2.30pm): Carrick-on-Suir

Wednesday, April 9 (10am-1pm): Tipperary Town – St Michael’s Street, and Bansha Road (Construction Skills Training Centre)

Thursday, April 10 (10am-1pm): Clonmel – Kickham Barracks

Friday, May 2 (Time TBC): Roscrea

Thursday, May 8 (Time TBC): Nenagh

Friday, May 9: Thurles – Archerstown (Transition Year students only)
