NCS presents ‘Made In Dagenham’
The countdown is truly on to ‘Stand Up’ with Nenagh Choral Society as NCS proudly presents 'Made In Dagenham', from March 17 to 22.
With less than two weeks until opening night, the cast of ‘Made In Dagenham’ have dedicated long evenings and weekends to rehearsals to bring this story to life. This empowering and captivating production promises to be an uplifting and unforgettable experience!
‘Made In Dagenham’ is a musical based on the true events of the 1968 Ford sewing machinists strike in Dagenham, England. The story centres on Rita O’Grady, a working-class woman who becomes a leader in the fight for gender equality. Frustrated by the injustice, Rita takes a stand and leads a strike that garners national attention. This musical is a tale of empowerment, solidarity, and justice in the face of adversity.
