Tipperary Clubs Draw
The March monthly Tipperary Clubs Draw took place last Wednesday, in Lar na Pairce.
Our big winners were the Clonmel Commercials GAA Club, who claimed the top prize of €20,000, while the second prize of return flights for 2 to Australia or €5000 was won by Nenagh Eire Óg’s Alan Kelly.
The lotto jackpot stood at €8000 and once again it was not won which means that it will now be €9,000 for our weekly draw which will be held next Wednesday, March 19th.
As the April Monthly draw will be our last monthly draw, it will take place in Eldon’s Bar, Clonmel on Friday April 11th at 8.30pm.

Handball
It was a busy weekend at the National Handball Centre with the Juvenile 40x20 All-Ireland Finals.
In the Girls U14 Singles semi-final, Molly Joyce from Ballina was up against Dublin’s Ciara O’Reilly. Molly took the first game 15/8 and in a nail-biting second came from behind to win 15/14 and earn a place in the final where she was up against Antrim’s Nenagh McBride. In a very evenly matched game, McBride won the first set 15/12. In a thrilling second, Molly won 15/14. The third set was also close with the Antrim girl winning 15/9 to take the title.
In the Boys U14 Singles, Dara Cross from Cashel was up against Charlie Roche from Castlebridge in Wexford. Dara found it hard to get aces against the in-form Wexford lad and was defeated 15/3, 15/8.
In Girls U15 Singles, Lucy Ann Cleary put in a great performance against Ellie Roche from Kilkenny. In a thrilling first game Lucy Ann was unlucky to lose 15/14. Although well beaten in the second set this was a great outing for the Nenagh girl.
