Walk in the park for Parkinson’s Ireland
Save the date Saturday, April 5, in your diary for a walk in Templemore Town Park for Parkinson's Ireland at 12 noon. It is a nationwide walk and supported by Home Instead Care.
The walk will this year kick off Parkinson's Awareness Month with fourteen other locations as well taking part across the country.
This is our charity's annual flagship fundraiser. We hope you will come and support this fantastic way of raising awareness during Parkinson's Month.
We ask you to register in advance if possible on http://www.parkinsons.ie but you can also register on the day. You will receive a T-shirt and there will be a social element at the end of the walk in Templemore with Tom providing tea, coffee, smoothies and ice cream.
Please join us for a positive day of awareness and fundraising for Parkinson's Disease and the essential services provided by Parkinson's Ireland. This annual event promises to be a fun day out for our members, their loved ones and the public. Come together to support one another.
By participating you contribute to raising awareness about Parkinson's as a condition and promoting better care and support for those living with Parkinson's and their families.
Parkinson's Disease is the fastest growing Neurological Condition with members set to double in next 20 years.
Almost 18,000 people in Ireland are living with Parkinson's Disease and we need your help to continue to provide support and assistance to those with Parkinson's their care partners loved ones and Health Professionals.
Looking forward to meeting with you all in Templemore Town Park at 12 noon.
