Bord Na nÓg

Arrabawn All Ireland Champions 2024 - Last Saturday evening, our victorious All Ireland Under 15 champions were presented with their medals at half time of the Tipperary v Clare National Hurling League game at FBD Semple Stadium. Tipperary senior hurler Alan Tynan was on hand to present the medals to the players and management. Our thanks to FBD Semple Stadium for facilitating this to acknowledge this wonderful bunch of players.

Schools - It’s been an incredible couple of weeks for schools hurling in Tipperary with two All-Ireland titles returning to the County.

Coláiste Phobal Ros Cré picked up the All-Ireland Senior ‘D’ title with a one point win over Grennan College Thomastown to collect the Niall McInnerney Cup.

Then on St Patrick’s Day in Croke Park, Thurles CBS also collected honours with another one point victory over a gallant Presentation College Athenry. This saw the Croke Cup return to the Premier County once again. Congratulations to all involved.

Peadar Cummins Interdivisional Hurling - Saturday morning saw the opening two rounds of the Peadar Cummins U14 Hurling Tournament take place in Coolmore Morris Park. All four divisions got to the grips with the cold and blustery conditions to begin the tournament. Mid Tipperary emerged strongest with two wins to their name. Round 3 and Finals will take place this week. Details have yet to be finalised and we ask you to keep an eye on our social media for updates.

Minor Hurling & Football Leagues - The County Minor Leagues are up and running across the country in both codes with players getting plenty of game time. Fixtures are available to view on the Tipperary GAA website.

Inclusion - If you wish to be included in the mailing list for Tipperary Bord Na nÓg update each week, please send an email to probng.tipperary@gaa.ie
