Local TYs win Best Display in Student Enterprise Competition

Our Lady's Secondary School, Templemore, was thrilled to announce that their Transition Year (TY) students have been awarded Best Display in the Senior Category at the Student Enterprise Competition held at TUS Thurles.

The winning team, consisting of Josh Murphy, Sean McNamara, Evan Patterson, JD Moloney, Aaron McGrath, Pat Maher, JR Corpez, Andrew Everard, Ryan Nolan, and Thiago da Costa Zunino, showcased their exceptional creativity and teamwork. A special mention goes to their dedicated teachers, Ms Emma Fogarty and Ms Caroline O’Hara, whose guidance and support were instrumental in the success of this project. We congratulate all involved for their hard work, innovation, and dedication. Well done on this remarkable achievement.

Last week, a group of senior cycle students with a keen interest in engineering had the opportunity to visit two prominent local companies - OMC Technologies in Limerick and Atlantic Aviation in Shannon.
