Nenagh to host Easter Egg Treasure Hunt this Sunday
The Nenagh Classic Car Club will hold its third annual Easter Egg Treasure Hunt on this Sunday, April 13. The event, which is totally free to enter, is open to all members of the public that wish to take part.
The Easter Egg Treasure Hunt has been a massive success over the last two years and we expect this year to be no different.
Registration for the event takes place at 2.30pm on this Sunday at the Factory, Tyone, Nenagh. There, participants, once registered, will receive a map and their first clue. This will lead them to their first destination once they figure out the cryptic clue.
On arriving at each destination, they will receive an Easter egg and the clue for the next destination. There will be six clues to figure out, all indicating towards a destination point. At the destination point participants will find a classic car parked up with a member of the Nenagh Classic Car Club team ready to greet them.
Each team can win a maximum of six easter eggs on completion of the treasure hunt. This is a really fun family event and we expect there to be a big uptake in this year’s event so we are advising people to arrive early and register. Participants in the hunt will need a car in order to travel to the destination points as the hunt is within a 15km radius of Nenagh.
We would like to thank Tipperary County Council and the Obama Plaza for their support in sponsoring this event.
We would also like to thank Brian Comerford for the use of The Factory and members of the Nenagh Classic Car Club who are volunteering their time to run this free community event.
We look forward to seeing you all on Sunday for this year’s Easter Egg Treasure Hunt.
