North Tipperary GAA Championship draws
The draws took place on Wednesday for the North Tipperary Hurling & Football Championships in a number of competitions.
In the showpiece senior hurling championship, defending champions Kiladangan have been drawn to play Roscrea in a quarter final, with Toomevara facing Lorrha and Kilruane MacDonaghs coming up against Nenagh Eire Og. The three winners will progress to the semi-finals where Borris-Ileigh received the bye.
The dates for the championship are to be confirmed as they are dependent on when Tipperary senior and under 20 teams exit their respective championships with last years championship beginning on the third weekend in June.
In the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship, newly promoted Moneygall have been drawn straight into a quarter final against Silvermines with the winner progressing to the semi-finals where Ballina, Templederry Kenyons, and defending champions Burgess await.
In the Intermediate Championship, there are two straight semi-finals with Shannon Rovers facing Portroe while Newport and Borrisokane will meet in the first of two championship games as they have also been drawn in the same group in the county championship.
