A cracking Easter egg hunt staged in Nenagh and surrounds

The Nenagh Classic Car Club Easter Egg Treasure Hunt took place on Sunday last, April 13.

Over 90 people, young and old, took part in the free community event, which has grown in popularity year on year.

There was great excitement and much debate among family members taking part in the hunt as they worked together to solve each clue which would lead them to a destination point where they would be rewarded with an Easter egg. There were seven secret locations to be discovered once the teams worked out each cryptic clue.

The feedback from the people that took part in the event was extremely positive, both young and old really enjoyed the afternoon and were all very happy with their collection of Easter eggs.

Just over 500 Easter eggs were given away to the Treasure hunters on Sunday afternoon.

The Nenagh Classic Car Club were delighted to be able to host this free community event again this year. “It is great to see so many people coming out to take part in this event,” said Club Chairperson Declan Lee. “We hope to return again next year with an even bigger event.”

The Nenagh Classic Car Club would like to thank Brian Comerford, our Club members and all who took part in the event. We would also like to thank Tipperary County Council and the Barrack Obama Plaza, who sponsored and supported this free community event.
