Great art exhibition staged in Nenagh

Spring dazzled in the Garden Room of the Abbey Court Hotel last weekend,  with a wonderful display of original artworks by members of the North Tipperary Artists Collective-NTAC, its first of a number of scheduled events for 2025.

Brendan  Keogh, Chairperson,  introduced Ryan O’Meara, TD, who was  on hand to officially open proceedings on Friday  evening. He was very appreciative of the artistic endeavours  on show and  interacted very positively  with the works on display.  He wished the group continued success into the future. He also spoke of the importance of art and culture within our communities and fostering both to ensure enrichment  through engagement .

The evening  continued  with light refreshments  provided by the hotel,  and music from the magic fingers of Samie Flannery on the piano.

The whole weekend was a wonderful success,  with many locals and visitors to the area enjoying it. People found  some unique pieces of art to take with them, even as far away as Canada!

A big thank you to the Abbey Court Hotel,  who provided the venue  and light refreshments, Ryan O’Meara, TD, who kindly opened the event, Samie Flannery and finally to the wonderful people who came through the doors over the weekend either to view or purchase.  Thank you again.
