Quid Games fundraiser for Moneygall clubs

Moneygall GAA and Moneygall FC to benefit

Moneygall GAA and Moneygall Football Club are delighted to announce that they will jointly host a spectacular evening of entertainment with their Quid Games event at the Abbey Court Hotel on Sunday, May 4. Doors will open at 7pm, with the show commencing at 8pm.

Inspired by the hit Netflix series Squid Game - though thankfully much less severe - this promises to be a thrilling and fun-filled night.

Thirty-five contestants will take part in up to six exciting challenges, all vying for a prize fund of €10,000.

The ultimate winner will not only receive a share of the winnings themselves but will also have the honour of donating to a nominated charity or cause close to their heart.

unique event

This unique event marks a proud collaboration between Moneygall’s GAA and Football Clubs, following a hugely successful year for both organisations. Recognising that ongoing investment is key to future success, funds raised will be used to enhance and develop local sporting facilities, ensuring that achievements on the pitch can continue for years to come.

It is heartening to see both clubs working together, strengthening community ties and securing vital support for future generations of athletes.

The evening will be hosted by the renowned MC Paul Collins, formerly of Today FM, guaranteeing plenty of laughs and lively entertainment.

After the games conclude, DJ Dobbo will keep the celebrations going late into the night.

TICKET DETAILS

Tickets are now on sale at €25 per person and can be purchased from Ollie’s Bar in Moneygall or Byrne’s Post Office in Dunkerrin.

For added convenience, a return bus service is available at a cost of only €5, making it even easier for everyone to come along, support the contestants, and cheer for the great causes they represent.

Thanks to all

The organising committee would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported the clubs through various fundraisers, events, and challenges over recent weeks and months.

Without this ongoing community spirit, none of this would be possible.

We warmly invite all members of the parish and surrounding areas to join us for what promises to be a truly memorable night.

Don’t be shy - get involved, show your support, and we’ll see you there!
