Garrykennedy 10k fun run

THE 2016 Garrykennedy Fun Run/Walk and family fun day will set out from Garrykennedy village at 4pm on Saturday May 21st.

Since 2012 this event has raised in excess of €16,000 for charity and this year we hope to greatly increase that amount. Proceeds from the 2016 event will help to raise funds for our local primary school, Scoil Mhuire in Portroe. As almost all of us have at sometime or another benefited from our local primary school, we would greatly appreciate your help with this very important event for the community. The event is open to all walkers, joggers and runners, so whether you are an elite athlete or a Sunday stroller, this is the event for you.

There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd home, plus a prize of a Perpetual Trophy for the first man and woman home.

Any donations, no matter how small, would be hugely appreciated and will go a long way to helping us achieve our target.
