Book of condolence for John Hume

The Cathaoirleach of Tipperary County Council, Councillor Michael Smith is opening a book of condolence for the late John Hume this morning.

 

Cllr Smith said: "The people of Tipperary will have an opportunity to express their sympathies to the family of the late John Hume, RIP, and the extraordinary legacy that he has left by helping to create peace on our island."

 

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the book of condolence is only available online at www.tipperarycoco.ie and will remain open until Tuesday, August 11th. The messages of sympathy will be printed and bound in a book of condolence and presented to the family of John Hume.
