Planning granted for school developments

Tipperary Co Council has granted planning permission for new developments at Portroe and Ballina schools.

The Board of Management at Portroe NS has received permission for temporary accommodation to provide for two additional classrooms, two group rooms, a therapy room and a general administration room. Associated corridors, sanitary, storage areas and all ancillary works are included in the plan.

Meanwhile, the Board of Management of Ballina Primary School has been granted permission for a single-storey split level extension to the rear of the existing school. The plan also includes alterations and all associated site works.
