Walshs of nenagh north tipperary under 21 b hurling final preview
Borris-Ileigh v Newport Gaels at Templederry on Saturday 29th November at 2.00pm
This is a novel final pairing with both sides emerging unbeaten to this stage. Borris-Ileigh, in search of their second title (they last won in 1995) easily beat Shannon Rovers Gaels in the opening round and accounted for Portroe in the quarter final before overcoming Lorrha in a high scoring semi-final last Sunday.
Newport Gaels, who have never won the title (Newport won in 2003) beat Borrisokane in their opening game. They then defeated Shannon Rovers Gaels and followed this up with a win over Ballina in the semi final.
Based on the manner of their wins, Borris-Ileigh will carry the favourites tag and will have enough amunition to overcome a very young Newport Gaels side.
