Public order arrests in Tipperary

Gardaí have arrested two people in relation to a serious public order incident in Clonmel last Monday,  April 27th,, 2020.
 
The incident occurred in the Prior Park Road/Fethard Road area of Clonmel last Monday evening April 27, 2020 at around 6pm. A number of people were involved in this altercation and Gardaí believe weapons were produced. No injuries were reported to Gardaí following the incident. 
As part of investigation Gardaí in Clonmel arrested a man in his early 40’s and a woman in her late 30s this morning May 1st, 2020. Both are currently detained at Clonmel Garda Station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the Prior Park Road or Fethard Road area of Clonmel, particular road users with video footage, between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on April 27 to contact Clonmel Garda Station on 052-6177640.
