An improved second half performance saw Kiladangan overcome a young Roscrea side in an entertaining North Tipperary Under 21 'A' Hurling semi-final on Sunday.

Their greater all round scoring ability proved good enough to see them over the line against a very young Roscrea side that has all bar one underage for next years championship.

Bryan McLoughney emerged as Kiladangan’s match-winner with seven points, four from play which surfaced in the second half as Kiladangan improved on their half time lead of three points, 2-7 to 0-10. He was in line for man of the match with Darragh Flannery at centre back. Flannery curbed Roscrea’s Shane Fletcher (the elder statesman on the team) to just one point. Conor Culhane was immense at wing back in a backline that shook off first half nerves to settle down well at a unit where Darragh Molloy led the way.

Up front, Billy Seymour was Kiladangan’s top scorer when scoring 2-3 but his goals in either half were of the soft variety.
