Killavilla United progressed to the open draw of the Munster Junior Cup with a comprehensive 6-1 win over Ballymackey on Sunday.

Both sides had shown good form in recent weeks with Killavilla knocking Premier division champions Nenagh Celtic out of the competition the previous weekend while Ballymackey had secured the Barry Cup with an impressive win over Division 1 champions Cloughjordan.

This game was never in doubt however with Killavilla dominating the first half and taking a three goal lead into the break with strikes from Kenny Lee, Ruairi Murphy and Craig Phelan.

The second half was more of the same with 'Villa adding three more goals through Josh Neville, Darren Doyle and Shane Moloney to run out comfortable winners.
