A model display in Roscrea

The fourth annual North Tipperary Diecast Model Show will take place at the Racket Hall Hotel in Roscrea on Sunday December 1st.

Consisting of a huge display of model farms, trucks, cars, tractors and doll houses, as well as vintage and modern Lego, the show will feature displayers from all over the country.

This year's show is again being held as a fundraiser for a very good cause – Milford Hospice – for which almost €3,000 was raised last year. Added features to the 2019 show include a display of the three All Ireland cups won by Tipperary teams this year.

There will also be a fantastic prize draw taking place. McHale Machinery has contributed three McHale model Fusion 3 balers to be won.

Originally established in Newport as a fundraiser for the Make A Wish Foundation, the North Tipperary Diecast Model Show has become a focal attraction for model hobbyists all over the country. Some of the collections that will be on display are rare and highly valuable. There will be traders selling diecast models and doll house items at the Roscrea show, where there should be lots of interest for people in search of that unique stocking filler.

The show will take place from 11am to 6pm. Admission: €5 for adults, and children under 16 can enter for free. A great family day out is guaranteed. Further details are available on the 'Tipperary Diecast Model & Diorama Show' Facebook page.
