Star Moloney thrilled to be back at senior level

Player of the Match Aishling Moloney said the disappointment of relegation last year was a huge motivating force this summer.

We were wicked disappointed last year to get relegated, we took it one game at a time this year. Our aim overall was to get back up Senior and thankfully we have done that today,” she said.

It's a massive honour to win the Intermediate Championship, but at the end of the day personally I would give anything to play against the big dogs up Senior. This is all I'm thinking of right now - being up in Division 1 and playing Senior, and that's all we want.”

Cahir woman Moloney says it's been a hard road to get back to the Senior grade.

Certainly Intermediate is a very hard division and it's not easy to get out of,” she said.
