Lambert gunning to get back to senior level

Six teams will grace the surface of Croke Park next Sunday, each playing their part in a festival of ladies’ football which will showcase the best sides from junior, intermediate and senior ranks.

Still, most of the hype this week will revolve around the latter grade, as Dublin look to complete a famous three-in-a-row, and Galway chase an historic All-Ireland double in both camogie and ladies football.

However, you could argue that the most consequential game of the day takes place at 1.45pm, when Tipperary and Meath face off in the intermediate decider.

Yeah, we definitely belong at senior level, and I think that’s evident from the Division 1 campaign this year,” she admitted.
