Launch of Wheelchair Hurling Rulebook

A new Wheelchair Hurling Rulebook was launched by An tUachtarán, Aogán Ó Fearghail, which will be distributed to all Players, Coaches and Administrators involved with Wheelchair Hurling.

The Rulebook is to assist Referees with an understanding of the main areas of wheelchair hurling. It is designed to explain and simplify the Playing Rules with a focus on practical application and it is hoped it will become a useful reference for Players, Coaches and Spectators, alike.

Following today's launch Uachtarán, Aogán Ó Fearghail said: “I wish to compliment the National GAA for ALL Committee on their work in producing this valuable resource for the Wheelchair Hurling community. I wish to pay a special mention to Martin Donnelly for his continued support for a variety of programmes across the Association.â€

John O'Dwyer (Leinster Sales Manager, MD Sport) added: “I know Martin has enjoyed supporting Wheelchair Hurling for many years now. We wish players and volunteers the best for Round 3 of the Wheelchair Hurling League taking place in John Mitchel's GAA Club, Tralee, this coming Saturday.â€
