See Saturn in the night sky
With clear skies forecast tonight Irish people with the help of a telescope will be able to see the amazing planet Saturn.
David Moore, Chairman of Astronomy Ireland, said: "Without a doubt, it is by far the most spectacular planet that you can see in a telescope and people will be astounded at much you can see in a giant telescope!"
"Saturn is 1,500 million km from Earth but we will see it like you would if you were in a spacecraft that had travelled this immense distance and was hovering over the planet, its rings and its moons," he added.
