European medals for Templemore's McGinley
Templemore Athletic Clubs Adrian McGinley came home with two medals from the European Masters Track & Field Championships held in Venice, Italy recently.
McGinley claimed a silver medal as part of the Ireland team in the 4x400m relay and a bronze in the 4x100m relay.
Adrian has been a key member of Templemore Athletic Club for over twenty years, leading the club to National League titles in 2001 and 2003.
Along with clubmates Johnnie Doran, Kenny McDonnell (recent medallist at the World Masters Rowing Championships) and Brian Murray he assisted in setting a national masters record for the 4x400m relay in 2017.
Following on from the successes of John Dwyer and Genevieve Rowland at the World Masters Championships in Spain last year, it shows the success of Templemore AC knows no bounds.
