County dates altered ahead of busy club schedule

 

The Tipperary County Boards Competitions Controls Committee (CCC) produced revised dates for the closing stages of all adult championships in hurling and football.

With at least one preliminary quarter final needed in senior hurling and the guarantee a Mid final has to be played in hurling before that round can take place has forced the county's fixtures planner to alter the schedule with the county senior hurling final on Sunday 3rd November with the football decider on 10th November.

The following dates were set for games over the next few weeks:

Weekend 29th September: County Senior & Intermediate football championship quarter finals and junior 'A' football preliminary quarter finals. Games that cannot be played over this weekend due to divisional finals will be moved to the following Wednesday.

County intermediate hurling preliminary quarter finals

Weekend 6th October: County senior hurling preliminary quarter finals

Weekend 13th October: County hurling quarter finals in senior, intermediate and junior 'A', and Seamus O Riain Cup.

Weekend 20th October: County hurling semi-finals in senior, intermediate and junior 'A' and 'B' and Seamus O Riain Cup.

Weekend 27th October: County football semi finals in senior, intermediate, and junior 'A' and 'B'.

Weekend 3rd November: All county hurling finals.

Weekend 10th November: All county football finals.
