Nenagh’s virtual St Patrick’s Day celebration

Nenagh Live and the inimitable Tom Bán return on Monday, March 15th, to present a three-day online event celebrating Nenagh, its people and its heritage.

Monday 15th – Episode 1 at 8pm: Among its many interesting and fun segments, Episode 1 will feature Nenagh historian Kevin Whelan and his memories of Nenagh. Music will be by Gradam Ceoil Award winner and founder of the In Tune for Life Orchestra, Ned Kelly. Ned is joined on Episode 1 by a host of talented musicians and friends.

Tuesday 16th – Episode 2, 8pm: Nenagh Live is delighted to present the town's first live gig in over 12 months. Streamed completely live from the Soundstage at Spain AV and beginning at 8pm, Episode 2 will feature live performances by: Emma Fitzgerald and friends, Bubba Shakespeare, Grace and Jimmy Tooher, Arthur Mitchell, Pat Holland, Martin Grace, Collie Hogan, Cleo Griffin, Kadence McCarthy, Niamh Kennedy, Tradstone and Ireland's biggest country music star Mike Denver.

Hosted by Tom Bán with Rock n’roll Memories of Nenagh by Philip Talbot and Mike Healy, Episode 2 will be a fun, lively showcase for local as well as national talent.

Wednesday 17th at 12pm: At 12 noon Nenagh Live presents a special St Patrick's Day message from Father Des Hillery, Co-PP, live from St Mary of the Rosary Church. Father Des will give a special festive message to the local community and further afield so be sure to tune in whether you are at home or abroad. This midday episode will also feature a special musical performance by organist Joe O’Brien.

Wednesday 17th, 8pm: Beginning at 8pm, Nenagh Live and Tom Bán celebrate St Patrick's Day in style. This special St Patrick's Day episode features contributions from many local clubs, performers, schools and businesses. It’s a fantastic selection of dance, musical performances, local business and memories of Nenagh.
